Run for a Reason

Every mile can make a difference.

Team Ronald McDonald House (Team RMH) gives runners the opportunity to participate in select runDisney events while raising funds to support families served by Ronald McDonald House of Central and Southwest Georgia.

As a participating runDisney charity, Ronald McDonald House secures a limited number of charity race entries for select events. Runners who join Team RMH commit to fundraising on behalf of our House, turning their race experience into something much bigger.

Whether you’re chasing a personal best, checking a runDisney race off your bucket list or simply looking for a meaningful reason to run, Team RMH gives every mile a purpose.

What Is Team RMH?

Team RMH is our official runDisney fundraising team.

Participants join our team for select runDisney race weekends and raise funds that directly support the mission of Ronald McDonald House of Central and Southwest Georgia.

Those funds help us provide a home away from home for families who must travel for their child’s medical care, helping ease some of the practical and financial burdens that come with having a child who is sick or injured.

You run. You raise support. Families stay close.

More Than a Race Bib

Joining Team RMH means becoming part of a community committed to keeping families together when they need each other most.

Team RMH participants receive support throughout their experience, from registration and fundraising to race weekend itself. Our team celebrates milestones, encourages one another along the way and gathers during race weekends to recognize the runners who have chosen to make their miles matter.

For many participants, the finish line is only part of the experience. The real accomplishment is knowing that every dollar raised helps provide comfort, care and a place to call home for families facing some of life’s hardest days.

Meet Kelsey

Team Ronald McDonald House Coordinator

Behind every Team RMH runner is someone cheering them on.

Kelsey Dixon serves as the Team Ronald McDonald House Coordinator for Ronald McDonald House of Central and Southwest Georgia, overseeing our participation as a runDisney charity and serving as a dedicated resource for our runners throughout the entire experience.

Kelsey joined Ronald McDonald House in March 2024 and coordinates our charity race entries, helps runners navigate fundraising requirements and goals, tracks funds raised by Team RMH and plans special opportunities for our runners to gather and celebrate during race weekends.

A Disney enthusiast and travel advisor specializing in Disney Destinations, Kelsey brings a unique understanding of the runDisney experience to her role. She combines that knowledge with a passion for events, travel and giving back to help make each runner’s Team RMH experience both meaningful and memorable.

From the moment a runner joins Team RMH to the moment they cross the finish line, Kelsey is there to answer questions, offer encouragement and remind them what they’re running for.

Your Miles Make an Impact Here at Home

Team RMH may take our runners all the way to Walt Disney World, but the impact of their fundraising comes right back home.

Funds raised through Team RMH directly support Ronald McDonald House of Central and Southwest Georgia and our work to provide families with a comfortable place to stay, meals, resources and a community of support while their child receives medical care.

Every race entry represents something bigger. Every runner brings more people into our mission. And every dollar raised helps us continue to be here for families when they need us most.

Ready to Join Team RMH?

If you’ve dreamed about participating in a runDisney event, we’d love to have you run with us.

Race opportunities and available charity entries vary by event and are limited. Kelsey can help you learn about upcoming races, fundraising commitments and what to expect as a member of Team RMH.

Run with purpose. Raise support. Keep families close.
